CASCOO goes BSCI

CASCOO knows its responsibility to its employees and business partners. For this reason, CASCOO today is proud to announce that we have been ranked C in the latest BSCI Review from amfori. BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) is a leading supply chain management system that supports companies to drive social compliance and improvements within the factories in their global supply chains. BSCI implements the principle international labour standards protecting workers’ rights such as International Labor Organization (ILO) conventions and declarations, the United Nations (UN) Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and guidelines for multinational enterprises of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The 11 principles of the code of conduct are:

1. the rights of freedom of association and collective bargaining

2. no discrimination

3. fair remuneration

4. decent working hours

5. occupational health and safety

6. no child labour

7. special protection for young workers

8. no precarious employment

9. no bonded labour

10. protection of the environment

11. ethical business behaviour
